Expedition Cosplay SNAP! Open World
Expedition Cosplay SNAP! Open World is a photo expedition to an open world “game” to do recon by taking snapshots.
It's a photography type of game. If you like Pokemon SNAP! and wish it's more an open-world to roam, you may like my game.
It has a walk-in-the-park feel. No killing, no being killed/chased, no enemy, no win/lose, no levels to climb. Just enjoy roaming and taking snapshots in a variety of game worlds.
FUN THINGS TO SEE/DO:
Fly a pterodactyl and quetzalcoatlus, ride a Pegasus, fly a dragon through an ice castle, see mermaid and Triton, swim with a plesiosaurus, watch baby dinos hatch, face Kraken on a pirate ship, meet the ghost of the pirate captain, spot Yeti/Big Foot,... And take snapshots, of course, watching the picture slowly reveal like a Polaroid.
Hope you enjoy roaming in my game as much as I do!
Modes: Default Color, Sepia, Depth Of Field
Plays On: Web browser on PC + mobile
Other Features:
- One day-night cycle in the game is about 1 minute in real time.
- The start time you enter the portal uses the real time on your device. Therefore, you may start in day time or night time depending on the real time.
- The moon phase matches up what's in the real world. Therefore, if you have a full moon that night in real world, you will see a full moon in the game too.
- You may see rainbow after the rain.
*NOTE:
The game is still in development. There is no scoring of the photos yet, but I plan to implement some kind of photo scoring and more...
This is my first project submission on itch.io. Not sure how the game window scales, although it plays fine on my computer and phone. But if it seems cropped, try it on play.unity.com.
